Martine Cafe
Martine Cafe, a wonderful tapas restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City approached us to develop a 'simple website.' After talking with friend and Executive Chef Tom Grant about our services and expertise, he was excited to move to Drupal.
Their new site allows them to manage the restaurant menu for lunch, dinner and special events. Their superb wine list is also managed by anyone at the restaurant easily using quicktables.
Within weeks after opening, a couple from California was driving on I-80 near Reno headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. They knew they wanted to stop in Salt Lake for a bite to eat so they looked up Martine on their iPhone. With the menu and map easily accessible, they were able to make reservations and plan out their meal online.
If you ever find yourself SLC and you enjoy local food with Euro styling, you can't go wrong with Martine.
We often write "throw-away" code for one-off tasks or to scratch our own itch. The source might not be immediately useful for others but the lessons learned are invaluable. We always try to blog, tweet, or share those lessons when appropriate.
