Utah Clean Energy

Dharmatech provided Utah Clean Energy with a dynamic, engaging website system that allows their staff to easily add and edit content.  Utah Clean Energy is a nonprofit public interest organization partnering to build the new clean energy economy through policy, regulatory, and educational initiatives.

Prior to working with Dharmatech in early 2009, Utah Clean Energy's website was difficult to update and maintain, resulting in a static, unfriendly site.  Utah Clean Energy worked with a designer to create a new graphic design for their site, and DharmaTech incorporated this design into the site we built using Drupal.

Features we built include:

• Rotating home page image - each time a viewer visits the site, a new image appears at random.  Utah Clean Energy's staff has control over this feature and can easily add or delete images from the queue of rotating images.
• Dynamic lists of news articles organized by topic/issue.
• Search Engine Optimized site - visits and page views to the site quadrupled since the site went live in February of 2009.  And, important key words such as "renewable energy in Utah" result with Utah Clean Energy near or at the top!
